The Wedge Overlook & The Little Grand Canyon in a Campervan

The Wedge Overlook and the Little Grand Canyon, is a beautiful weekend getaway from the Salt Lake City area. Featuring beautiful views, hiking, biking, and camping, it’s one of our favorite trips. A direct shot to the Wedge Overlook should only take about 3 hours, but if you have time to burn, we suggest coming up from the south and taking the Buckhorn Wash. Here you’ll wander through a beautiful canyon featuring ancient pictographs and petroglyphs. Enjoy the video, for a little teaser on what to expect.

Join us on a journey through Buckhorn Wash ultimately arriving at the Wedge Overlook in Castle Dale, Utah, home of the Little Grand Canyon. Buckhorn Wash is home to ancient petroglyphs and pictographs. Video by @TimmCutler Cutler Creative

Camping

The camping at the Wedge Overlook is free and first-come-first-served. Just find a good spot in the designated area and set up camp. You can also drive your campervan right to your campsite. Since this is a remote location, you will need to bring everything with you.
